Yourtown Draw 560 is centred around a $3 million luxury home at Mermaid Waters on the Gold Coast, with a total First Prize valued at $3.26 million.

And it isn’t simply the keys to the house. The prize also includes furnishings and electricals, $20,000 in Gold Bullion, plus a number of those first-year property costs that are much less exciting to think about — but very nice not to have to worry about.

Yes — once the property is transferred to the winner, what happens next is ultimately their decision. Yourtown itself describes the choices facing Prize Home winners as living in the home, renting it out or selling it, depending on what best suits their circumstances.

For this one, though, deciding to leave Mermaid Waters might be the difficult part.

You don't need to find somewhere at home to hide a pile of gold bars. Yourtown says the gold is placed into an account with its bullion supplier and can be stored free for the first 12 months.

From there, you can keep it, watch the gold price, or sell some or all of it back for cash whenever you choose. Selling costs of approximately 2–2.5% apply, and the amount you receive will depend on the gold price when you sell.

Very much so. Furniture and electricals worth $125,414 form part of the First Prize, with pieces and appliances from brands including Globewest, Samsung, Fisher & Paykel, SMEG, Breville and Dyson listed by Yourtown.

There are a few photographic styling props that aren't included, and Yourtown's terms allow included goods to be substituted with items of similar design and equal or greater value.

There's a little breathing room built into the prize. It includes 12 months of council rates and water valued at $5,543, plus 12 months of home and contents insurance valued at $5,000. Transfer fees are also included in the First Prize package.

Not in person before the draw. Yourtown says this Prize Home is not open for public viewing, largely to respect the local community and avoid parking and safety issues. There are, however, photos, video, a floor plan and virtual tour available online.

Close enough that this isn't simply a “Gold Coast” address on paper. Yourtown lists Nobby Beach at around a 5-minute drive, Pacific Fair and Burleigh Heads at around 10 minutes, and Broadbeach at around 15 minutes.

That makes the location a big part of the appeal — beach mornings, restaurants, shopping and the best of the southern Gold Coast are all within easy reach.

Ticket sales close Wednesday, 14 October 2026 at 10:00pm AEST, with First Prize drawn Friday, 16 October 2026 at 12:00pm AEST.

The First Prize is drawn by barrel, and Yourtown says the draw is conducted live with the public welcome to attend.

Yourtown Draw 560 is limited to a maximum of 470,000 tickets. If every ticket were sold, one ticket would therefore represent one entry among a maximum pool of 470,000 for First Prize.

This isn't one where you're expected to stumble across your name online weeks later. Yourtown says the First Prize winner is contacted by phone as soon as the draw result has been confirmed, with written notification also sent. Results are then published on the Yourtown website.

Yourtown's Prize Draws help fund its services for children and young people, including Kids Helpline. Yourtown says every ticket helps ensure Kids Helpline counsellors can continue being available to children and young people when they need someone to talk to.
