Yes. The prize package includes a 2026 Sea Ray 250 SDX OB Sport Boat valued at $329,000 and a dry dock system valued at $20,950. The waterfront home also has its own private pontoon with direct Broadwater access.
The first-prize package includes $1.25 million in gold bullion. Eligible Book Buyer Bonus prizes can add further gold if the winning first-prize ticket was purchased as part of a qualifying ticket book.
Yes. If the first-prize winner purchased a qualifying ticket book, the Book Buyer Bonus can add between $10,000 and $60,000 in gold bullion, depending on the value of the qualifying ticket purchases. Purchasing more than 100 tickets qualifies for the maximum $60,000 Book Buyer Bonus under the Draw 328 terms.
Mater estimates the fully furnished Helensvale property has a rental potential of approximately $182,000 per year, based on an August 2026 estimate. Actual rental income may vary with market conditions, demand, expenses and taxation.
No general cash alternative is offered for the Draw 328 first prize. Mater's terms state that non-cash prizes are not redeemable for cash and are not transferable. This is different from the gold bullion, which can be sold for cash after it is received.
Yes. A Mater prize-home winner can choose to live in the home, rent it, keep it as a holiday property or sell it once ownership arrangements are completed. Mater has specifically presented selling a prize home as one of the options available to its winners. Normal legal, financial and tax considerations may apply.
Mater Foundation pays the standard transfer duty, registration fees and legal costs required to transfer the property into the winner's name. From the date the winner takes possession, ongoing property costs, taxes and levies become their responsibility. Estimated council rates are $3,213 per year, and the terms do not include 12 months of home and contents insurance
Yes. Mater lists the Helensvale prize home as open for viewing from 26 September to 20 December 2026, from 9am to 5pm daily, except for nominated closure dates including 30 September and 12–14 October.
Mater Prize Home Draw 328 closes at 7:55pm AEST on 20 December 2026, unless the lottery sells out earlier. Entries received after the closing time or after sell-out are entered into the next lottery under Mater's terms.
Single tickets start from $2, with multi-ticket bundles reducing the effective price per ticket. Mater is permitted to issue up to 30,097,275 tickets, with the final ticket pool ranging from 17,757,392 to 30,097,275 depending on how tickets are purchased and bundled.
Eligible entrants must be 18 years or older. Mater Prize Home tickets are available to eligible Australian residents except South Australian residents, as Mater does not hold a South Australian permit for its Prize Home lottery. Eligible overseas residents may also enter, subject to the laws where they live and any Australian requirements that apply if they win property.
The $1.25 million in gold bullion is cashable. The winner could keep it as an asset or sell some or all of the bullion and convert it to cash. Mater notes that the gold is valued at its purchase price, so selling costs and movements in the gold price may affect the amount ultimately received.
Proceeds from Mater Prize Home ticket sales support Mater Foundation, helping fund vital medical research, patient care, medical equipment, clinical programs, education and training across Mater. Mater says its lotteries help support work across Mater Research, Mater Health and Mater Education.
